Amenities and Rules
Whisperwind Cabin is a furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation cabin - with the average appliances
of the modern home: electric oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, mixer,
coffee maker, full size washer and dryer, a blow dryer in bathrooms, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner,
two HDTVs with DVD player connected to both, propane grill - bottle attached ready for use,
charcoal grill - bring your own charcoal, hot tub, table with chairs and rocking chair on the deck.
Furniture includes log beds, table and chairs, coffee table, and bar stools.
Sleeper sofa has a queen size mattress covered with a mattress pad,
Bedding supplied - including pillows.
The two beds are completely made - sheets, pillows, blanket, spread, shams.
Both bathrooms have a blow dryer, guest soap, tissue, and plenty of towels and wash cloths for a normal stay.
There are dishes, glasses, pots and pans, flatware and utensils, and a First-Aid Kit.
Cabin is well stocked for use by guest during stay.
Cleaning crew will check supplies during routine cleaning after check out.
We make a trip up monthly to re-stock. Supplies are for use during your stay.
Anything (spices, shampoo, etc) left behind will remain in the cabin for use by the next guest.
Hot tub is serviced between guests. If desired, temperature setting can be changed -
be aware it takes time for the large amount of water to make a change -
the cover on hot tub will keep water clean and warm.

Queen size sleeper sofa.
Grills - propane furnished for gas grill, charcoal grill -bring your own charcoal. Central heat and air.
Quick light gas log fireplace. Picnic area has fire pit, table and benches behind cabin.
Deck wraps 3 sides of cabin. Quiet rural area-- not for loud parties. Pet friendly - with pet fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Dog pen on grounds can be used - bring a lock for use if desired to put on gate.
Horse shoes and ladder ball set up for outdoor games. No smoking inside.
Washer and dryer. Linens furnished. Cooking and serving utensils in cabinets.
48" HDTV in living area, 32" HDTV in back bedroom - DVD Player hooked up to both.
Circle drive and parking area provide plenty of parking. Whisperwind is one of half a dozen cabins on the short tree lined lane - each on a lot about an acre -- low dust - little of traffic.

make it the perfect vacation getaway for a small family or two couples.
Minutes off the main highway. Nearby: Beavers Bend State Park, Cedar Creek Golf Course, Broken Bow Lake, Mountain Fork River, Ouachita National Forest, McCurtain County Wilderness, Kiamichi Mountains, Hochatown.
To avoid cleaning on the Holiday - check- ins will not be scheduled for Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.
Smoking is allowed outside only.
Dispose of the cigarettes butts in the fire pit - a safer option than
thrash basket or dropping on the ground - especially in the dry seasons.
People other than those in the Guest party may not stay overnight in the property.
Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
Whisperwind Cabin is privately owned,
the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that might occur
while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss
of personal belongings or valuables of the guest.
By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly
assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or
others whom they invite to use the premise.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
Use appliances only for their intended uses. There is no garbage disposal -
do not put food into the sink expecting it to go down the drain.
Buttered bread is not to be put into the pop-up toaster.
Never leave a fire unattended.
Do not remove hot wood from fire pit -
thrown into the forest, it could spark a wild fire.
Use common sense.
PETS are permitted only with prior approval and must agree to follow all rules.
Dog must be given a bath and treated for fleas and ticks before arrival
and current on Rabies Vaccination.
Pet owner is responsible for cleaning up after pet - inside and out -
keep off furniture.
No other type of animal is allowed.
Dog never to be left unsupervised - unless crated.
Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted.
Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Linens and bath towels are included in the unit,
daily maid service is not included. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin and deck.
Beach towels for use after hot tub are in a basket inside the cabin
only to be used at the cabin - not to be taken off the property for outside activities.
When using the dryer, clean the lint filter after each load.
Hot Tub: Children not permitted in hot tub at any time without adult supervision.
Pet is never to be allowed in hot tub.
When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility.
Use at your own risk.
Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in tub prior to your arrival.
DO NOT STAND, SIT OR CLIMB ON THE HOT TUB COVER -- do not attach a dog to hot tub or cover.
Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and not designed to support a person or persons.
They will break -- and tear -- you may be charged for replacement.
Remember when not using the hot tub, cover in place will stay keep water warm and clean.
Shower before and after hot tub use.
Foot tub under steps can be filled with water - rinse feet to keep water clean during your stay.
Turn foot tub over on back deck to empty - slide back under steps when unneeded.
Fireplace: The fireplace is a vented propane gas log fired firebox.
Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.
The fireplace has a pilot for a quick light -- and is controlled by a thermostat.
With the glass doors closed, the fire will go on and off .
To turn the fire place completely off, turn the dial beyond the Pilot position.
When left in pilot position, there will be an odor of gas.
Use the fire place in cold seasons - not when running the air conditioner.
Septic: The cabin is on septic systems. The septic system is very effective;
however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed.
DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.
No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.
If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system,
you could be charged for the service call.
Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. Gravel drives are well maintained.
We do not refund due to road or weather conditions.
We encourage all renters to purchase trip insurance.
Before leaving, do a final walk through - collecting all personal items.
House cleaning do not return anything.
